# WordBan

> WordBan is a free word party game to play in the browser with friends, family or in class: one player describes a word without saying its five forbidden words and the others type their guesses on their own phone or computer. No account, no download. 2 to 10 players, solo or in teams. Available in English, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish.

It is a Taboo-style game (Tabu in Portuguese), independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by the owners of those games. WordBan is offered by ZENKOJI WORKS LTDA (Brazil) at https://wordban.io. The game has no voice chat: the describer speaks the clues, so it works best with people in the same room or on a voice or video call. A text chat exists only in the waiting room of public rooms.
